Sobre mí

Soy José Paradas, fotógrafo venezolano radicado en Canadá. Mi fotografía nace de la curiosidad, la paciencia y el deseo de observar aquello que muchas veces pasa desapercibido: la luz tranquila antes del amanecer, la textura de un paisaje, la presencia de la vida silvestre o la inmensidad del cielo nocturno. A través de la cámara intento capturar momentos que se sientan honestos, atmosféricos y vivos. Me atraen especialmente la naturaleza, la astrofotografía y esos pequeños detalles que nos conectan con un lugar. Para mí, fotografiar no es solo documentar lo que tengo enfrente, sino preservar la sensación de haber estado allí.

My photography is shaped by curiosity, patience, and the desire to notice what usually goes unseen: the quiet light before sunrise, the texture of a landscape, the presence of wildlife, or the vastness of the night sky. Through my camera, I try to capture moments that feel honest, atmospheric, and alive.

I’m especially drawn to nature, astrophotography, and the small details that connect us with a place. For me, photography is not only about documenting what is in front of me, but about preserving the feeling of being there.
